37 seconds, that’s Keenan Davis

But the 37-second mark of this YouTube vid by Gazette photographer Cliff Jette is . . .

Future UI wide receiver Keenan Davis jumping over a dude and dunking.

I was a judge for this event, along with KGAN Jared Ahrens, WMT’s Andy Petersen and former Hawkeye and Jefferson assistant football coach Tony Burrier.

This one got me out of my chair.

  1. We need to get this clip over to Lickliter. πŸ˜‰ Can’t wait to see him on the field.

  2. Great athlete and, from the few times I’ve talked to him, great kid.

I still think he might be a better safety, but Iowa needs wideouts right now.

  3. AMAZING! Great add. Good stuff, Marc, I check out this site daily.

  4. Marc –

This is totally off this topic but I heard from a reliable source that James Ferentz will NOT be back next year, what do you think of that?

    Go Hawks!!

  5. Thanks, Eric. Appreciate that.

Duane, I haven’t heard that. If it happened, I could see it. I’m still not sure what he’s done would merit such a severe punishment.

  6. I also read this site daily and love it. living in florida I rely on sites like this to always keep me in touch with everything hawk that the other sites dont even come close to reporting.

great job on all of it

ps I sure hope thats not true of james ferentz not coming back. i think what he has done merits that ending

  7. I’ve done a little checking on that and can’t find anything definitive. People could see it, but it would seem harsh.

We’ll see maybe on the Big Ten teleconference on Tuesday.
