  1. Marc, your ‘analysis’ is the same thing that every one of us is doing, wondering what’s going to happen at QB. The technical differences between the two are the same as they were a week ago. What has changed is one seems to have lost his confidence, while the other strattles that fine line between confidence and arrogance despite passes on the wrong side of his receivers, no touch on passes to Brandon, etc. But the audible was the biggest play of the game.

I’m surprised that Moeaki wasn’t listed, though Brandon and Allen have really established themselves.

I was at the FIU game, and am sure the booing was coming from the student section. So I’m not sure the cheers last Saturday were saying ‘Glad to see ya’ or ‘Sorry about last week’ but they were well distributed from all the sections. Everybody just wanted to win.

I think we have a lot of wisdom in our coaching staff, and I’ll support them and their choice at QB.

  2. Good analysis, Pete.

I think fans who “get it” don’t boo. And I’ve probably come off high and mighty on the booing. Fact is, someone pays $50 for a ticket to a game, they’re going to feel entitled to voicing their opinion. You could probably say the same thing about someone who pays $2 for a game.

We’ll find out about Moeaki tomorrow. Myers and Reisner have been great as pass catchers. They’re blocking has been steady. I think blocking is a real strength for Moeaki, but I’m starting to forget it’s been so long since I’ve seen him play.

  3. Marc,

A six-pack of Yuengling’s would go down great watching the game this weekend….

From observation of fans surrounding, it really was the same people cheering for Stanzi/booing Christensen who were booing Stanzi/cheering Christensen the next week. And tickets only cost $50 in the end zone – others require free-will “donations” to get the honor of paying $50. Still, nobody’s helping the team by booing a twenty-year-old kid who’s doing what he can, as if he can will himself better.

Nobody who has ever faced a D1 pass rush is booing the kids.
