Just dipping my toe into the video thing. I’ll get to interviews and editing at some point or they’ll find someone else to be the treasurer for the Hawkeye AV Club. Scothawk is the president emeritus. Caution, you go to his site and you’re going to lock yourself in your tool shed until September. You’ll miss work and emerge a penniless hermit with a bad beard. They’re that good. You’ve been warned.
Scothawk’s site is like video games to me. I cannot look at or play because I won’t sleep for days.

I found the Scothawk site a couple of years ago, and what is on there is magical. (The Wisconsin 2005 highlight reel is proof.)
Does anyone know Scothawk? Last updates were from the 2007 pre-season. I would love to see if there is another site out there that has his content.

I think he lives in Mason City. I’m not sure why he slowed down. I hope he’s OK. Interesting guy and a talented videographer. (I think he’s a dentist by day.)

I have always enjoy the Scothawk videos. He does a great job and I can’t imagine how long it takes to put together some of those videos. Thanks for posting some videos Marc it is always nice to see the hawks in action.

We’ll be doing more, TC. I don’t see us reaching Scothawk’s level, but it’s something to shoot for.

Scothawk is amazing. And, he is a dentist.
But sadly, he lost his younger brother a couple years ago, and I think it might have had something to do with the updates in video.
Sometimes, life has a way of reminding you of what really matters.
I feel weird about even stating that, since I don’t know this man. But, I know he is an amazing Hawkeye fan and also a great family man.
If I’ve offended anyone, I’m sorry.

Might I suggest you invest in a tripod or, at a minimum, a monopod?

I have one for press conferences. I don’t yet have the nerve to hang in there on the sidelines. I definitely lost it on that one that came our way. And you know what, it wasn’t even that close. I just freaked.
